Action Learning Facilitation Training Courses – Terms & Conditions

Please read at time of booking

Booking a place

You can book through our website on-line, by phone or email. Bookings are confirmed by email. If you haven’t received a confirmation email within 24 hours of booking, please check your spam/junk folder before contacting us.

The price for the course is shown on the website at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change course fees without notice.

Course Viability

Courses take up to 6 participants, however for the course to be viable and provide the optimum learning experience, we need a minimum of 4 people. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

Confirmation that the course is taking place will be no later than two weeks before the start date. If the course fills before that we will confirm at an earlier date. If you have booked and we do not have the required numbers to run the course we will offer you a place on our next course.

Payment

Places are secured by a payment of:

  • The full amount
  • deposit of £150 (+VAT), balance payable no later than 2 weeks before the start date.
  • 3 instalments with final payment made before the course finishes

Please indicate on when booking how you would like to pay. Our preferred payment method is by BACS. We also accept payment by cheque or credit/debit card via Stripe. We hold a provisional place for you whilst payment is being processed. your booking will be confirmed once we have received a cleared payment.

In the event of a participant cancellation deposits are non-refundable.

Late Payments

If payment is not received by the specified deadline, we reserve the right to release your provisional place to another participant. If you decide or can no longer attend and have received an invoice or payment request please let us know you.

 

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. Our cancellation policy for experiential training courses is as follows:

  1. Cancellations Received 4 or More Weeks Before the Course Start Date

A full refund will be provided for cancellations made at least 28 days before the course start date.

  1. Cancellations Received Between 4 and 2 Weeks Before the Course Start Date

Cancellations made between 14 and 27 days before the course start date will be eligible for a 50% refund.

  1. Cancellations Received Within 2 Weeks of the Course Start Date

For cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date, the course fee is non-refundable. However, if we secure a replacement delegate, we will refund your course fee in full, minus an administrative fee of £35.

Our courses are limited to 6 participants to mimic an Action Learning Set experience. Late cancellations can affect the learning experience for other participants so we ask that you provide as much notice as possible.

Requests to cancel your place(s) must be made by email to contact@actionlearningcentre.com

You may substitute another delegate at no extra cost.

Cancellations by Action Learning Centre Ltd

ALC retains the right to modify course content, change the trainer, or, in exceptional cases, cancel a course at any time without liability. In such instances, delegates will be offered an alternative course or a full refund.

Force Majeure Clause

Action Learning Centre Ltd shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or rescheduling caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God, government restrictions, or other force majeure events). In such cases, participants will be offered the choice of a rescheduled course date or a refund.

Data Protection and Privacy

By booking a course, you consent to us storing and processing your personal information for course administration purposes. We will never share your data with third parties without your consent, in line with our privacy policy.

Accessibility and Special Requirements

If you have any accessibility requirements or special needs, please let us know at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements to support your participation.

Participant Code of Conduct

We aim to create a supportive and respectful learning environment for all participants. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the course without a refund.

Certificate of Completion & CCEs

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. This will be provided digitally or in print at the end of the course. It will state the International Coaching Federation (ICF) continuing coach education (CCE) points accredited to the course.

Technology Requirements for Virtual Courses

Participants attending virtual sessions must ensure they have a stable internet connection, a working camera, and microphone. Links and instructions for accessing virtual sessions will be provided in advance.

 

Virtual Courses

Action Learning Facilitation Essentials: Consists of 6 sessions each 3.5hrs typically delivered in pairs over 5-6 weeks. Plus one self-facilitated session of 3hrs and a 2hr webinar.

Action Learning Facilitation Advanced & Mastery: Consists of 8 sessions each 3.5hrs typically delivered in pairs over 5-6 weeks. Plus one self-facilitated session of 3hrs and a 2hr webinar.

 

Blended Courses

Combination of virtual and in person training sessions.

For the Action Learning Facilitation Essentials course, the first 4 sessions are delivered online with a final full day in person.

For the Action Learning Facilitation Advanced & Mastery courses, the first 4 sessions are delivered online with two consecutive full days in person. Both include a self-facilitated session and webinar.

In person days are 9.15am for a 9.30am start until 5.30pm. These times can be subject to change.

All courses are supported by an online dedicated course platform. This provides access to course resources and materials. Participants will be sent access a maximum of 4 weeks before the start date. For late bookings they will be given access once payment is cleared.

Included in the price is a course manual and Question Bank pack.
