Lead Better. Think Sharper. Don’t Do It Alone.
Being a CEO or senior leader can be isolating. You’re making complex decisions with incomplete information. You’re expected to be clear when things aren’t. And there are few places you can think things through properly.
So where do you go to:
- Test your thinking without judgement?
- Be challenged, not advised?
- Talk honestly about what’s really going on?
Our Peer Action Learning Sets give you that space.
We bring together a small group of leaders to work on live challenges, using questioning, not advice, to think clearly and move forward.
This is a high-calibre thinking space for leaders who want to operate at their best.
What you gain
- Clarity on complex leadership challenges
- Sharper, more confident decision making
- Perspectives you won’t get inside your organisation
- A trusted peer group who understands the pressures
- Time to think, not just react
- Clear actions and follow-through
- Greater self-awareness and leadership impact
Why it works
You’ll join a small, high trust confidential group of leaders from different organisations; people with no agenda or stake in your decisions.
Using the structured Action Learning process, you will:
- Work on real, current issues
- Be challenged through incisive questions (not advice)
- Uncover assumptions and blind spots
- Step back and see the wider picture
- Commit to clear actions between sessions
This is not a discussion. It’s focused thinking that leads to action.
Who it’s for
- CEOs, Directors, and senior leaders
- People leading through complexity, change, or growth
- Leaders who want to sharpen their thinking—not just talk about it
This works best if you:
- are open to being questioned
- are willing to work on real issues
- will take action between sessions
- value thinking over quick answers
How it works
Small, curated groups of 5–6 leaders meet with an experienced facilitator. All sets operate under strict confidentiality. What’s shared in the group stays in the group.
Each session includes:
- updates on actions taken
- two or three members working on a current challenge
- structured questioning to deepen thinking, explore assumptions and new perspectives
- agreement of clear actions
- reflection on learning and impact
Who facilitates the sets
Sets are facilitated by experienced Action Learning practitioners who have worked with senior leaders across sectors. We don’t give advice. We guide the process, hold the structure, and ensure a high-quality, focused thinking environment.
The commitment
Action Learning isn’t something you dip in and out of. It’s a structured series with the same group, because meaningful change comes from continuity, not one-off sessions.

What Participants Say
“Time is more valuable than money. I’ve spent some of mine in an Action Learning Set and I’ve discovered another precious commodity – headspace.”

“It’s challenging leading an organisation and at times lonely. These sets are a great way to take stock, re-energise and move forward in an enormously supportive and encouraging environment.”
Keith Reed, CEO Parent Infant Foundation
“The process of Action Learning, experienced in a closed and supportive set, has helped me counter the loneliness that can so often accompany leadership. It has built both my confidence and self belief, providing a safe space to reflect, explore and grow”
Nicki Power
“I have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in our action learning set.
It is a super opportunity to be reflective, learn new skills, and take on ideas and approaches.”
