A quote around Action Learning
“Action learning is a rare and powerful space to pause, tune in and hear your own thoughts, feelings and internal dialogue around real life situations through the gift of open questions. Action learning invites you to bring your whole self into the space – everyone has a unique lens of the world and this is what makes action learning a rich, creative and transformative space.”

What brought you to AL & when?
Action learning was something that happened behind closed doors at an organisation I worked for in 2017. People came out visibly moved and energised. I got really curious and trained up as an action learning facilitator. It totally spoke to my heart as a way of having real, often uncomfortable and challenging, yet highly supportive conversations.
What do you love about AL?
I love that moment when people recognise the value and impact of a new way of communicating than they’re used to. Whether it’s what an open question can elicit, or the penny dropping that we often think we (or others) need advice, when actually what we need is to be deeply heard and understood. I love seeing groups lean into trust, connection and courage.
Why does AL matter?
In a fast paced and noisy world where we’re constantly being told what to do, how to lead and how to live our lives, action learning helps us to listen, reflect and question from our head, heart and gut.
