Janie Wilson
I got involved in Action Learning over 20 years ago as part of a great 5 year project supporting leadership development in the Not for Profit Sector – Action Learning Matters. It was love at first set for me, a fit with my coach approach of curiosity, strengths, reflection and action.
Action Learning is remarkably adaptable. It seems so simple but gets to the heart of issues, and brings real breakthroughs in thinking, commitment, motivation and understanding. And, thanks to the collective and intimate nature of the Set, people do the things they say they will do – it’s so effective and transformational. I have always thought Action Learning mattered because it encourages collaboration, deep listening and care for each other – much needed in current times.
